Prepare hair with Curls & Waves Shampoo and Conditioner to moisturise, and help restore shine. Make sure you rinse your hair thoroughly after conditioning, as any residue left on the hair can drag your curls down. Dispense a small amount of Curls & Waves Light Hold, or Firm Hold Curl Cream into your palm (roughly the size of a 50p piece) – it is always best to use less product, as you can always add more if you need it.
Scrunch the Curl Cream into your hair, ensuring it is applied evenly throughout the hair. Separate and define the curls by twisting sections and winding them around your finger. Do not use a brush to try and define your curls, as this will cause them to frizz.
Attach a diffuser to your hair dryer, and set it to the lowest heat and speed setting available. Place sections of hair into the diffuser and gently dry them.
Once your hair is dry, gently use your fingers to separate and define the curls. The Curl Cream will hold your style in place, however at this stage you could also use further products for a different finish or texture. Try Frizz Free Shine Oil to smooth out curls, and give a more defined look, High Shine Glosser for a healthy sheen, or Salt Texture Spray for a tousled, matt style.
