proudly announces the launch of the new Makubela Suites.
Secluded, surrounded by natural bush with a view over the plains, these are the perfect spot for a honeymoon. The kingsize beds are draped with romantic mosquito netting, there are inside and outside showers and each suite has a private splash pool. Private dinners and picnics in the summer are served on the outside deck.
The suites are named after a female leopard who included the lodge as part of her territory. She died in 2010 in the grounds after a massive fight with a male. A firm favourite with staff and guests alike, Makubela will always be remembered.
