Sports Science Institute of South Africa (SSISA) Healthy Weight Programme offers an 8 week intervention that will get your body and mind healthy and, more importantly, help you maintain these changes in preparation for your big day!
At the start of the programme you will undergo detailed scientific assessments, have a one–on-one session with the dietitian and receive a detailed healthy eating plan that will be structured to suit your individual needs and goals. You will also have an individual consultation with the programme manager to work out the path ahead in order to achieve your goals.
Each week will consist of 3 structured exercise sessions – all supervised by a biokineticist; a one–on-one “expert advice on nutrition” chat with our dieticians; as well as a group discussion with our psychologists who assist members with challenging issues and help empower them to effectively implement and maintain their new healthy lifestyle.
